For the fastest access to the current day's first reading on your mobile device:

  1. Open Liturgy Bible Foundation/today in your mobile browser.
  2. Tap the Share button (iOS) or Menu (Android).
  3. Select "Add to Home Screen".

The Liturgy Bible includes the English Standard Version (ESV), used under license from Crossway, alongside two public domain translations: the King James Version (KJV) and the Douay-Rheims Challoner (DRA). We are actively working on licensing other liturgical translations, including the forthcoming Catholic American Bible.

The Liturgy Bible uses the 2025 ESV text—there are very minor differences between the ESV and the ESV Catholic Edition (listed here). The ESV-CE has been the text of the Lectionary for Mass in England and Wales since Advent 2024.
